YouthBorders' AGM on 23rd March was a great success, receiving good attendance, with a number of member youth projects 'showcasing' their work.

A big thanks to all YouthBorders members who showed their support.

The Bridge, in partnership with Borders Equality Forum, LGBT Youth Scotland, and NHS Borders, have organised an Equalities and Diversity Awareness Raising workshop for youth work providers, staff, and directors/trustees.

The workshop will be delivered in two sections; the first by George Higgs, Chair of Borders Equality Forum; and the second by Louise MacLennan lead for NHS Borders on Equality and Diversity. We hope that this session will both increase awareness of equality issues in the Borders, and also provide useful information regarding changes to Equality law which will impact on service providers and employers. There will be the opportunity for a "Question and Answer" with George, Louise, and Karen Wilson (LGBT Youth).

YouthBorders' first network meeting after the summer holidays will take place on:

25th September, 12.30 - 2pm at Langlee Complex, Galashiels.

 A light lunch will be provided at 12.30 with the meeting to follow.
