Scottish Borders Council has recently appointed five Locality Integration Managers (LIMs). These posts will support the work of the Children's Change Unit by joining up or integrating children's services in the five Area Committee Districts of the Borders. This will mean working closely with all those involved in work with or for young people and will include Education, Social Work, Health, Police, Youth Clubs, Voluntary Organisations and of course young people and their parents. It is hoped that this work will lead to more and better services for all young people, but particularly those most in need of support.
