Was set up in 1999, in response to the Scottish Executive's National Childcare Strategy. The Childcare Partnership brings together everyone with a key interest in developing affordable, accessible and good quality childcare, for children of all ages. The Childcare Partnership meets four times a year and the sub-groups of the Partnership, which look at specific issues, meet approximately every 6 weeks.

The Childcare Partnership also oversees the Children's Information Service, which runs a telephone helpline and internet site for parents looking for childcare and activities for children. We hope, in the very near future, to expand this service to include all services for children and young people, including youth groups, clubs etc.
