What's it all about?

Impact provides a community environment where young people can hang out together, develop new skills & interests and meet new people. Our exciting programme includes a mix of activities - games, sport, theme nights - like 'battle of the sexes' and outings like ten pin bowling, ice skating.
There is also plenty of time just to chill - shoot some pool, play video games, strut your stuff on the dance mat or chat over a hot chocolate.
The programme is relevant, interesting and low cost. Impact is all about encouraging teamwork and a sense of achievement to support social development and build community within a fun, safe environment.
The programme aims to incorporate what is available within the local area and to use community people and services wherever possible.
Event ideas come from the young people with the aim of ensuring relevance and responsibility. Another dimension to IMPACT is the goal to give young people the opportunity to assist with worthwhile community projects.
Who's it for?
Impact is open to all young people aged 11-16 and will make everyone feel welcome.
Who Leads it?
Impact is led by a team of enthusiastic volunteer youth workers. All our volunteers have been CRBS police checked. The team are committed to providing a quality and fun programme where safety and wellbeing of the young people are taken very seriously.
