YouthBorders is recruiting a Social Media Assistant for our Sound Cycle initiative. Sound Cycle aims to connect young people with musicians to explore the impact of music on their life, skills, and wellbeing.
We need a talented individual to join our team, with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail. They will be responsible for producing online/social media content that will inform young people, community members, stakeholders and partners about new opportunities, events, and experiences associated with Sound Cycle and YouthBorders. The content produced will be a key way of promoting the youth music scene in the Scottish Borders.
This is a fixed term position, ending on 31st March 2020. The post is funded by Cashback for Creativity. The post is based at Langlee Centre, Galashiels, TD1 2LP. The post is for 4 hours per week – to be worked as 2 x 2 hour sessions. The rate of pay is £8.75 per hour.
